WHAT ARE SEMICURED GEL NAIL STICKERS?

Semicured gel nail stickers are the latest in nail technology. Think salon grade gel nail polish but in sticker form! With it you can have gorgeous gel nails at home for a fraction of the cost without the nail damage and long dry times.

The gel polish is 60% cured which makes them flexible, stretchy and very easy to apply. Simply peel the sticker, stick on your natural nails and cure it under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. It'll harden to the shape of your nails and there's 20 nail stickers to fit any nail size. They don't require soaking off as they have an adhesive back that makes it easy for you to gently lift them off your nails.

How To Apply

 

Gellae gel nail stickers are to be kept in its original black pouch until ready for use. With exposure to UV, it will start curing/hardening on the sheet. 


How to prep your nails


1. Wash your hands to remove oils and push cuticles back.

2. Rough up your nails using a nail file.

3. Clean nails with an alcohol wipe and leave to dry.

How to apply gellaes

1. Find the right size for your nail. Each end of the Gellae sticker has a different width to match your cuticles

2. Peel off the clear protective film, then peel the Gellae sticker.

3. Apply it to your nail, avoiding the cuticles. Stretch gently if needed. 

4. Press down firmly and smooth out any air bubbles. Press firmly around the edges with the wooden cuticle stick to seal the Gellae in place.

5. Trim any excess Gellae with nail clippers or scissors.

6. File off the excess sticker in a downward motion to smooth the tip. Ensure the Gellae does not extend beyond your nail length—Gellae stickers are not designed to act as extensions on their own. However you can extend them with our Diamond Top Coat (6 in 1 + Extensions Gel) , see instructions below.

7. Cure under a UV/LED light for 60 seconds. Tip: apply our diamond top coat for a better seal.

8. Done! Take a photo and tag us @gellaenails, we’d love to see your fresh mani! Now make sure to avoid contact with water for at least 2 hours post application.

Want to extend your Gellaes past your nail length?

You can add up to 3mm of extra length using our Diamond Top Coat, which doubles as a lightweight extension gel. Here’s how:

  1. After applying and curing your Gellae as usual, trim/shape the free edge to your desired extended length (up to 3mm).
  2. Apply a thin layer of Diamond Top Coat over the nail and on the underside of the extended tip.
  3. Cure under a UV/LED lamp for 60-120 seconds. Be sure to cure the underside of the extended tip. 

 

How to remove gellaes


1. Use the wooden cuticle stick to gently lift Gellae from one side off your nails. Apply our Nourishing Cuticle Oil & Gellae Nail Remover or nail polish remover to help loosen the adhesive. Gently slide the wooden stick under the Gellae until it’s fully off the nail. 
2. Clean your nails with an alcohol prep pad. You’re ready for your next set!

 

USE IMMEDIATELY AFTER OPENING TO PREVENT UV EXPOSURE AND GELLAES FROM HARDENING ON THE SHEET

FAQs

Will this damage my nails?

No, gellaes are safe, non-toxic, HEMA free and made with salon grade gel polish. The cured gel serves as an additional layer of protection, strengthening the nails from breakage and biting.

The gellae technology allows for an easy, non-damaging removal process. Just loosen the adhesive with nail polish remover or our cuticle oil remover and gently lift the gellae off your nail!

Can I use gellae as extensions?

Gellae gel nail stickers are designed to be applied directly to your natural nail length- they’re not intended to be used as extensions on their own. Unlike acrylics, Gellaes are not as rigid. Instead, they mold to the shape of your natural nail when cured, helping them stay in place without lifting or popping off.

That said, if you love a longer nail look, you can extend your Gellae up to 3mm past your natural nail using our Diamond Top Coat, which doubles as an extension gel.

Here’s how to extend Gellae with our Diamond Top Coat:

  1. Apply your Gellae sticker and cure as per normal.
  2. Trim or shape the edge to your desired extended length (up to 3mm)
  3. Apply a thin layer of Diamond Top Coat on top and underneath the extended edge
  4. Cure for 60-120 seconds under a UV/LED lamp

This method adds extra structure and support while locking in that signature Gellae shine.

How long do gellae manicures last?

With proper nail prep and application, gellaes should last 2 weeks or more, sometimes over a month!

Just make sure to not stick it on any skin or cuticle.

How many manicures can I get out of a pack?

A pack of gellaes includes 20 gellae stickers, which on average makes for 1-2 manicures!

BIG TIP: if you have shorter nails, you can cut a sticker in half and stick it on two nails!

Do I have to cure with a UV lamp?

Yes! Gellaes are made of real gel polish so you'll need to cure it under a UV/LED lamp so it hardens to the shape of your nails.

I came to realize that transparent gel nail sticker helps me to develop self-control on not to bite my nails. It is because, I am terrible nail bitter whereby having hard time not to bite my nails into normal nails. I have very brittle nails due to an autoimmune condition, and when I've tried reinforcing polish etc in the past I've done a terrible job of applying it! I decided to try these to see if they were better and/or easier and oh yes, they definitely are. It's been a few days and they're staying in place well, look great, and feel really strong! I've opened a bunch of cans and peeled backings off things without a single chip. Now I want to play around with the colourful ones too!

So far so good! Put these clear ones on a week ago and still not showing any signs of lifting. As someone that rips and bites my nails these have been perfect to help me grow my nails. Easy enough to apply, I did cure them twice cause they felt a bit soft, but loved that I did not have to file away the top of my nail for them to stick. Once they're a good length excited to try the colours.

Thought I’d give these a go and omg I love them!!! Went on super easy and feel strong (I did double cure them before cutting them and filing down to size). I always had a bad habit of biting my nails due to anxiety, and once I was able to let them grow out, they were weak and always chipped after a certain length. I was really surprised. In a good way! I work in a fast food restaurant so my nails suffer a lot from wearing gloves all day. I've tried so many things at home and nothing worked for even a day.
