What are DIY semicured gel nail stickers?

Is this your first time trying gel nail stickers aka gellaes? We've got a Starter Kit with a FREE UV Lamp to get you started!

WHAT ARE SEMICURED GEL NAIL STICKERS?

Semicured gel nail stickers are the latest in nail technology. Think salon grade gel nail polish but in sticker form! With it you can have gorgeous gel nails at home for a fraction of the cost without the nail damage and long dry times.

The gel polish is 60% cured which makes them flexible, stretchy and very easy to apply. Simply peel the sticker, stick on your natural nails and cure it under a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. It'll harden to the shape of your nails and there's 20 nail stickers to fit any nail size. They don't require soaking off as they have an adhesive back that makes it easy for you to gently lift them off your nails. 

Will this damage my nails?

No, gellaes are safe, non-toxic, HEMA free and made with salon grade gel polish. The cured gel serves as an additional layer of protection, strengthening the nails from breakage and biting.

The gellae technology allows for an easy, non-damaging removal process. Just loosen the adhesive with nail polish remover or our cuticle oil remover and gently lift the gellae off your nail!

Can I use gellae as extensions?

No, our gellae nail stickers are not intended for use as extensions; rather, they are designed to provide a thin layer of durable gel on natural nails.

Unlike acrylics, gellaes are not as rigid, making them unsuitable for extension purposes.

They are designed to be applied to the natural nail length, molding to its shape upon curing without the risk of popping off.

How do you apply and remove gellaes?

 

Gellae gel nail stickers are to be kept in its original black pouch until ready for use. With exposure to UV, it will start curing/hardening on the sheet. 

How to prep your nails

1. Wash your hands to remove oils and push cuticles back.
2. Rough up your nails using a nail file.
3. Clean nails with an alcohol wipe and leave to dry.

How to apply gellaes 
1. Find the right size and peel off the clear protective film.
2. Peel the gellae and gently stick it on your nail. Stretch if needed.
3. Use the wooden cuticle stick and a rolling motion to seal the edges well.
4. Remove excess gellae and file in a downwards motion. Gellaes are not made to be extensions hence file it to the length of your natural nails.
5. Cure under a UV/LED light for 60 seconds. Tip: apply clear top coat for a better seal. 
6. Done! Take a photo and tag us @gellaenails, we’d love to see your fresh mani!

How to remove gellaes
1. Use the wooden cuticle stick to gently lift gellaes off your nails. Tip: apply our Nourishing Cuticle Oil & Gellae Nail Remover or nail polish remover to loosen the adhesive. 
2. Clean your nails with a cotton pad.

USE IMMEDIATELY AFTER OPENING TO PREVENT UV EXPOSURE AND GELLAES FROM HARDENING ON THE SHEET


Tip: If the stickers are stiff on the sheet immediately upon opening, gently heat the sticker sheet with a hair dryer for a few seconds to soften, before application

How long do gellae manicures last?

With proper nail prep and application, gellaes should last 2 weeks or more, sometimes over a month!

Just make sure to not stick it on any skin or cuticle.

How many manicures can I get out of a pack?

A pack of gellaes includes 20 gellae stickers, which on average makes for 1-2 manicures!

BIG TIP: if you have shorter nails, you can cut a sticker in half and stick it on two nails!

How should I store unused stickers?

Store unused or leftover stickers in its original black pouch, in a cool, dark place.

Gellaes will start curing on the sheet when exposed to sunlight or UV/LED.

Do I have to cure with a UV lamp?

Yes! Gellaes are made of real gel polish so you'll need to cure it under a UV/LED lamp so it hardens to the shape of your nails.

Our portable UV/LED lamp is free in our starter kit!

How do I know if my gellaes are fully cured?

Gellaes are fully cured when they are no longer stretchable or if you are not able to leave an indent on the sticker with your fingernails.

A design cannot be found in the starter or B4G1F kit?

If a design cannot be found in the starter or B4G1F kit, it is sold out.

The bundle/kit only shows the gellae designs in stock/available for pre-order. You can search the design or find it under "Shop All" and click "Notify Me When Available" on the product page to receive an email immediately when it's restocked!

Can I cut off the excess before curing?

Yes, it is recommended to trim before curing so you can use the excess for another round of manicure.

We sometimes do it the other way round in our videos to show that gellaes aren't like traditional nail polish stickers, which don't harden once cured.

Are gellaes vegan?

Yes! Our gellaes are vegan.

Are gellaes HEMA free?

Yes! Rest assured, gellaes are HEMA free!

Are gellaes waterproof?

Yes, Gellaes are waterproof.

Each Gellae Semicured Gel Nail Sticker Pack comes with:

Can you edit or cancel subscription?

You will be able to manage your subscription box via the "Manage Subscription" link sent to your email, shortly after you subscribed. Alternatively, you can log in to your account.

You can edit quantity, swap styles, edit frequency, add notes, skip order, pause order and cancel subscription anytime.

Orders

I did not receive an order or shipping confirmation?

If you have not received an order or shipping confirmation via email, check your spam or junk holder. Sometimes it finds its way there.

If you are still not able to find the email, please contact us at hello@gellae.com.au with the full name the order was placed under.

Can I change my shipping address?

We can absolutely change the shipping address if your order has not been booked for delivery.

You might also be able to redirect your parcel by contacting the courier. Let us know if you need any help and our team will try our best!

I received incorrect/ faulty item?

So sorry to hear that you have received an incorrect or faulty item!

Please email our team within 7 days at customerservice@gellae.com.au with your order number, description of the issue and photos/videos of the item.

We will aim to promptly assist in resolving the matter by either sending a replacement item or issuing a refund, depending on the circumstances. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we are committed to ensuring that you receive the correct and high-quality products you deserve.

What is your processing and shipping lead time?

Please allow 1-3 business days to process and pack your order.

Can I express ship if I need them urgently?

We do have express shipping as an option at checkout but do keep in mind that the 1-3 business days processing lead time still applies and has to be added onto the express delivery lead time.

If you require it despatched ASAP, we have a rush order service to pack your order on the same or next business day for $5.

Can I change my shipping address?

We can absolutely change the shipping address if your order has not been booked for delivery.

What is your return policy?

At Gellae, we're committed to delivering innovative, high-quality nail products. If you encounter issues with Gellae Gel Nail Stickers (gellaes), we're here to assist you seamlessly.

Assistance with Application Challenges

We recognize that gellaes are fairly new nail technology and mastering their application may require a bit of practice. If you are experiencing difficulties such as early lifting or stiffness with your stickers, we encourage you to reach out to us at customerservice@gellae.com.au. Our dedicated customer service team is here to help.

Upon contacting us, we will guide you through a series of questions designed to pinpoint the root cause of any issues you are facing. More often than not, we find that proper nail preparation and application techniques can significantly improve your experience. Our goal is to ensure you get the most out of your Gellae Gel Nail Stickers, and we are committed to assisting you every step of the way.

Defective or Damaged Products

In rare cases of receiving genuinely defective or damaged gellaes, rest assured that we will promptly address the issue. Your satisfaction is our priority. Contact us, and we'll swiftly arrange a replacement or refund for affected products. We stand by our product quality and strive to meet our high standards.

Returns
 
Our policy lasts 7 days. If more than 7 days have gone by since receipt of goods, unfortunately we can’t guarantee you a refund or exchange.

Please choose carefully as we do not accept change of mind returns or exchanges. 

All purchases are final, if you'd like to cancel your order, there will be a 9.5% processing fee. 

Shipping Protection

If you've taken up Shipping Protection, it'll cover packages that are lost, damaged, or stolen during transit. Coverage takes effect immediately following checkout and continues until goods are delivered safe and sound. Full refunds and replacements are not guaranteed for lost/missing/damaged parcels if shipping protection wasn't added to your order.

If Shipping Protection was taken and your item arrives broken or faulty, we'll arrange for a replacement shipped out free of charge or broken/faulty item refunded.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 


Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. 

Late or missing refunds (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. 
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at customerservice@gellae.com.au. 

Sale items (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. 

Exchanges (if applicable) 
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at customerservice@gellae.com.au.

Gifts 
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return. 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. 

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Want a different courier for future orders?

We typically ship with:

- Sendle for most Australian orders

- Australia Post for all express and International orders.

Please email us at customerservice@gellae.com.au stating that you would like to change couriers for future orders and we will add a note to your customer profile to ship with the requested courier.

Do you have a referral program?

Yes we do have a referral program, just sign up to our loyalty program through the bottom left widget on the website!

Where are you located and can we pick up?

Our warehouse is located at Unit 8/28 Enterprise Drive, Rowville 3178 VIC.

Yes you can pick up your order, just choose pick up at checkout.

We do not currently have a retail shop on site.
